Glenmorangie 18 Years is a single malt Scotch whisky of serious distinction. Once it has spent fifteen years maturing in American white oak casks approximately 30% is transferred into Spanish Oloroso casks to spend a further three years maturing. Glenmorangie 18 Years has a unique taste balance between honey, flowering scent and malt.

The Glenmorangie 18-year-old is a well-rounded, vibrant and enticing whiskey, a single malt whiskey of distinction; an award-winning whiskey and one of the best of the Glenmorangie prestige range.

It has a honeyed gold appearance; on the nose it has a rich, rounded and smooth aroma with creamy and tangy notes of citrus, cinnamon, stewed fruits, caramel drizzled pannacotta and a complex floral fragrance; on the palate, it is tropical and creamy with nectarines in yoghurt, acacia honey, peaches in cream and butterscotch, dates and figs emerge in the background with a hint of wood smoke.

The Glenmorangie 18 is first stored in American white oak bourbon casks for 15 years, after 15 years, 30 percent of it is transferred into Oloroso sherry casks where it spends 3 years while the rest remain in the bourbon casks.
